What do I need to present at the check-in point?

When checking-in, you must show that you:

  • Have a valid passport or travel document (valid for at least 3 months validity after the date you plan to leave New Zealand);
  • Hold the right NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) (both confirmation email and a printed one are highly recommended).

You are allowed to board your flight or cruise to New Zealand if you do not have a valid passport and an NZeTA confirmation email.
